Making a difference

We are here for you, we know that in our local Belgrave and surrounding communities, reaching out for help in matters related to mental health can be daunting. But you’re not alone. We have provided guidance to many people tailoring advice to a person’s needs and sign posted them to services available locally. There are many services available to the community that you may not be aware of and can help  so reducing the risk of an urgent mental health crisis.

Who we are

The Peepul Centre has established a dedicated Crisis Café as part of a project commissioned by NHS LLR. Its’ primary focus is to provide guidance for people in the local community that find themselves in need of immediate mental health support.

Our team is composed of trained professionals who can provide guidance in several languages including English, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, and Hindi. We can help in a manner that is respectful of diverse backgrounds and cultures, and what best meets people’s immediate needs in confidence.

Our multicultural team offers a wealth of expertise, coming from a range of professions and offering different skill sets. In addition, they have also experienced and overcome challenges in life and passionately want to help others. In partnership with the NHS, this remarkable set-up provides a unique opportunity to create a bespoke and practical service to all that seek support.

Our vision

We will strive to promote good health and wellbeing in our local Belgrave and surrounding communities through provision of a high-quality mental health support service by listening, guiding and sign posting to local services.
