The Peepul Crisis Café provides a safe and welcoming place to anyone in need by offering guidance and support to help reduce the risk of a crisis. In addition, we can refer and direct you to further services if required.
Our aim is to support people to reduce any immediate crisis to help manage their mental health and wellbeing. We can guide you to services available locally to help tackle the root of your crisis.
Who is this service for?
If you find yourself struggling, or you feel you can’t cope and need support with your mental wellbeing, we are here to listen and help you.
This service is available for anyone 18 years old and over.
How can I access this service?
There is no need to call and book an appointment, simply drop into the Peepul Centre to receive support. We are open on Wednesdays between 2pm to 7pm.
What can I expect?
We offer a safe, relaxed and friendly environment at the heart of the local community.
You can speak freely and confidentially to trained recovery workers that speak your language and understand different cultures.
We can signpost you to suitable services for further support.
We can help you feel less isolated.
Staffed by trained recovery workers, peer volunteers, and people with a ‘lived experience of mental health needs’.
People can drop in without a referral
We offer you one-to-one support to develop a personalised action plan to help you get better.
