Tapestry of Touch

Sense proudly presents the Tapestry of Touch national tour. There are over 250, 000 children and adults who are deafblind in the UK. In 2013 Sense, the national charity for people who are deafblind, launched The Great Sense Pompom Challenge. People from all of the UK took part in the challenge and made over 6, 000 pompoms. These tactile, vibrant and fun individual offerings have been woven into a giant piece of sensory art – The Tapestry of Touch. Thousands of artists with multi-sensory impairments and without contributed to the tapestry. This is their artwork.

Tapestry-of-TouchSpread the word and help us to raise awareness of mulit-sensory impairments and of Sense in your community!
