The Concept of the Bharatiya Vrund Gaan (BVG-The Indian Choir) introduced by Manchester based composer Rakesh Joshi. B V G is the first Indian Music adult choir of the UK.
B V G performs popular compositions of Indian music and songs written by well-known poets of India. Over 50 talented singers of the North-West and Greater London take active part in the national project. The Indian Choir presents beautiful vocal compositions in traditional Indian style.

These songs are based Indian languages such as Sanskrit, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Malayalam and Marathi, includes popular group songs (Samuh Gaan), classical raga based compositions, Tarana, Divine chants of Vedic tradition, songs of four seasons and poetry written by famous poets of India.
The Indian Choir will be performing new compositions in authentic India style.
