DESCRIPTION:Experience an exciting evening of some of Leicester’s finest artistic talent in Indian classical music and dance. This vibrant evening will proudly present home-grown internationally-renowned soloists\, Roopa Panesar (Sitar) and Aakash Odedra (Kathak) and an unmissable new performance of ‘Confluence’ bringing BBC Young Dancer finalists Anaya Bolar (Bharatanatyam) and Shyam Dattani (Kathak) together with a live ensemble of expert musicians\, Kaviraj Singh (Santoor)\, Gurdain Rayatt (Tabla) and Abhiram Sahathevan (Mridangam). \n  \nThis event is part of ‘The Mehfil Project’\, a new series of Indian Classical Music and Dance events at the Peepul Centre.
